  9. "Good for a big company"

    4.0
Former Intern - Intern - Software Engineer in Redmond, WA

I worked at Microsoft for less than a year

    Pros

Large amount of resources for interns to learn, including a lecture series. In addition there were speaking and leadership opportunities available. Free housing or a $7000 stipend. Lots of fun events organized through the "summer camp" program and events for specific divisions of the company.

    Cons

Microsoft is a huge company. This fundamentally changes the way that people work and interact as there is less individual accommodation and conformity is valued.
