I worked at Microsoft (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing Benefits - even for part-time staff. Fun to play with latest tech like XBOX as part of your job.

    Cons

Supervisors and store inexperienced. Part-time staff rarely advance to full time. You are penalized if you have limited availability as student or parent. Poor safety practices. Obligated to complete training modules yet rarely provided time to complete during work hours and prohibited from doing them during off hours.

    Advice to Management

Require managers to have experience in direct personnel management. Have an experienced business professional at all locations who can ensure CRM is used.
