I have been working at Microsoft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good work life balance. People are good to each other. The connector bus fleet makes living in Seattle possible. Company is headed in right direction.

    Cons

Fixed mindset. There are a lot of people that have been here forever. The culture is in the midst of a shift, but I find it a bit old-school, sexist, old boys club.

    Advice to Management

Keep pressing forward with growth mindset changes and commitment to diversity. There needs to be a greater effort to either get old boys club people out or on board with change.

I worked at Microsoft as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Microsoft definitely takes care of its employees, including interns. Redmond campus is an exciting place -- so many talented people in one place, so many interesting events happening at once.

    Cons

Microsoft has done an admirable job of trying to reinvent itself in the last couple years. Currently, the name of the game is "helping people everywhere be more productive". However, it still feels a little too "corporate", i.e. it still feels like what we're working towards is Microsoft for the sake of Microsoft, rather than any genuine set of principles that unites everyone working there.

    Advice to Management

Be sure to make time for your interns, and to show them that the company is about more than just perpetuating itself.
