      Pros

Fun R&D team and great engineering team

      Cons

      No opinion of CEO

I worked at Microsoft for more than a year

      Pros

Access to quality people and resources.

      Cons

Don't understand or appreciate good user-centered design. Commitments and rating system for FTEs ensures people work hard against each other instead of together.

      Advice to Management

The office hierarchy really needs some revision. People should be rewarded for working together, not for proving their individual value at the end of the year. Designers are not just good at making wireframes. There needs to be more collaboration between different disciplines in all aspects of the products life-cycle.

I worked at Microsoft for more than a year

      Pros

They have the resources to get things done - should they decide to do something

      Cons

Too many meetings - hard to make any decisions

      Advice to Management

Reduce the amount of meetings; hire the contractors to be full-time employees. Yes, that means you will have to pay benefits. But projects are hard to complete if people keep changing.

      Pros

Salary is really good according to average in Estonia. Working hours are flexible. You can work from home whenever you want. Delicious free food. Team leaders are really helpful.
