I worked at MidPen Housing full-time

    Pros

    - support from fellow line staff is great
    - excellent opportunity to improve communities and change lives
    - opportunity to develop professional skills

    Cons

    - Mission/values are not displayed by all members of upper management. Manager was asking for goals to be met by dishonest means (specific to one leader)
    - Care and consideration for challenges were disregarded manager
    - unprofessional and unprepared one on one meetings with manager

    Advice to Management

    - ALL members of leadership team should be fully qualified to lead and train current/new staff members.
    - Management should be present and involved with issues on their properties, and make a TRUE and full effort to be aware of this issue-- not just ignore addressing the issue/pass it on to another person.
    - Management should be truly in support of staff not just say it.

I worked at MidPen Housing full-time

    Pros

There aren't any pros here that you can't get with another company.

    Cons

This company is seriously full of rejects who aren't capable of getting an "office" job anywhere else. The Property Management staff are incompetent - they have zero office etiquette, lack customer service skills and are extremely unprofessional and disorganized.

    Advice to Management

The leadership training you provide are great, but nobody is implementing them. If you want to be the best out there ALL AROUND, hire competent people. Stop accepting referrals from your current incompetent employees. It's 2016 - new management styles, office environments and employees have changed their ways. Millenials are changing the work place to what's more efficient and enjoyable for everyone; you should look into hiring those who aren't stuck in the old fashion way of things.
