    Positive Outlook

I worked at Midwest Petroleum full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My manager and my district manager were excellent. They both are positive and uplifting and want to see their people successful.

    Cons

Dealing with the public. People are just mean sometimes. The pay was good but the medical benefits were not the greatest, but that's thanks to the "Obamacare"

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

I have been working at Midwest Petroleum (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have strict rules, plenty of department head to keep them in place, and plenty of time under the belt to keep the plan consistent.

    Cons

They are too decompartmentalized, everyone has a title and it is usually over one specific thing. With that being said they are not concerned with anything else or get involved in the overall betterment of the company other than the specific title to which they hold. Also, there is no training, you learn by doing wrong, getting documented, and not doing it again.

    Advice to Management

Stick with the basics, it is the small things that create a great team. Turnover might be high but everyone needs to be treated like a star.

    Pros

The coworkers are cool and it can be fun to interact with the workers.

    Cons

Management and promotions can be unfair. It's all about who you know at this company. It's not about who deserves the next promotion, but who the boss man wants to pick.

    Be fair.
