    Advice to Management

Always gone to Mike's even as a kid. I've watched this company change in the short time I've worked here and they've come up with ways to help with benefits and training. Love this job and maybe I'm biased because I've always come through but they treat me well and gave me the opportunity to grow and move up in management. A lot has changed in the past year for this company. Very big on wow service and good company values.

Promotions within company are very easy to obtain with the right passion.

    Very good training programs

I worked at Mikes Carwash full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    They hire good people.

    Room for growth.

    Great training program.

    Expanding Market.

    Cons

    Corporate Micromanagement.

Do NOT work out of market.

Bonus structure and the company goals that determine those contradict one another.

High pressure and follow-up to make sure employees fill out surveys to make the company look good. "Best places to work".

Company will constantly stress things like "good pay" and "great values" simply because they're not true.

Pay does not reflect the level work and income you bring to the company.

"Take pride in your ride." (Visit your locations and see what the customers actually want)

    Advice to Management

Respect the people who are out there doing the work.

    Staff your locations.

Don't abuse the "honor system" of upper management and double your time off.

    Pros

Great company to work for. They have an excellent training program and are very good to employees. There are many opportunities for bonuses as well as an all-employee event where they hand out money to employees for bingo and other games of that sort. Even will provide for college if you continue to work for them while you're taking classes

    Cons

Management are bean counters. Every little detail matters to them which always come back to lower level employees which are usually high school/college age kids. They are very particular about everything they do and pretty strict.

    Advice to Management

Pull back on speed of service and focus more on customer interactions. Notice that while there are some people that come for a quick wash and don't want to be bombarded with upgrades to the wash.
