    Pros

    Free Gym Good, central location

    Cons

Greeting from my manager on the first day was 'Sorry, what's your name again?' Training (if you can call it that) was dreadful - Consisted of waiting for the supervisor to finish what she was doing and only trained in the 30 mins she had spare in the middle of the day. Spent almost all of training period just sat waiting being told to read through the training guide (you can only do that so many times). Trainer left an hour before me in training, leaving me with nothing else to do. Sour environment When asking for clarification on something, the response, without fail was 'We'll cover that tomorrow' Management look down on those that do not speak a 2nd language - a lot of the teams first language was Italian, including the management so immediately excluding a new starter from any interaction as they almost refused to speak English. Had been warned previously about this company by acquaintances that had worked for a competitor - oh how I wish I had listened!

    Pros

Good location. And if you are lucky enough, you will have a leader/manager who is too much relaxed and wouldn't care if you job is done. You will have some time to do freelance job during your work hours. Who cares! If any mistake found, it's other department's business. Yay!

    Cons

You might be annoyed by colleagues enjoying facebook and Youtube while you are busy as a bee. Management don't care much about the system and users. All they think about is company benefit. Do whatever to raise much money with that conservative system.

    Pros

    - free gym onsite - good colleagues - good location

    Cons

    - management are lucking training to manage staff properly - long term employees are not being appreciated at all - new staff seems to get paid more than long term employees - managers are bad mouthing each other behind each other's backs - no possibility to grow unless you are a brown nose and don't have much opinion on your own

I worked at Miki Travel for less than a year

    Pros

    - free gym membership - good location

    Cons

The whole company is a con!! My advice would be to avoid working here as much as possible no matter how desperate you are, Miki travel is not worth the headache and the unnecessary negative vibe. The accounts department is a mess, the management is atrocious. the managers are people who have received the 'manager' title because they have been there a long time as opposed to people who possess actual characteristics to make a successful manager. They have no managerial skill whatsoever and they have no respect for anyone beneath them and create an unbearable working atmosphere. Here are a few examples of how they treat their colleagues: - they tell off team members for talking if its not related to the work, how pathetic is that? - some ask inappropriate questions when colleagues are off sick for a day or two which is disgusting behaviour. also demanded a sick note which was completely unnecessary because we don't even get sick pay anyway (whole different issue) -one horrible manager refers to her colleagues as 'her staff' or even worse 'the kids' - total disrespect!! -you get stared at for having a little giggle or a little chat, some managers take it to the extent of going to the main manager and causing more trouble so people end up getting told off or pulled into a meeting just for opening their mouths and talking...whats next? getting in trouble for breathing? - someone always had to be blamed for a mistake...they can't leave it as a mistake, it gets blown out of proportion until someone is blamed. A mistake is a mistake that's it there's no need to place blame! the department is literally dehumanising and they like for the atmosphere to be prison like or like a school environment. Its appalling and unpleasant and a shame that there is an office full of people who probably all feel the same but feel stuck and unable to say anything. Those of you who are reading this and still there get out or stop putting up with this torture! The grass is definitely greener! Miki Travel accounts department definitely needs a lot of work - out with the old in with the new…but for now STAY AWAY!!!
