I have been working at Milestones Grill & Bar full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Organized and structured work environment. Low tip out (3.5%). No micro managing. Good shifts in the summertime. If you put in the time, and are closing/ serving in the lounge, tips can be really great.

    Cons

If you’re not shift leading/cocktail serving, shifts are extremely short. Anywhere from 2-5 hours. So if you’re not working a split shift, money isn’t as good when considering sales and number of hours worked. Food running is a priority so it can be a lot to always be offering “hands” to the expo/their unique callback system is definitely not for everyone. Scheduling is not as flexible in that they lean more towards keeping people with open availabilities. Sussex is one of the locations where seniority really means something. Training is insanely long. Honestly, I have a very neutral outlook on the place... nothing really special. Would really only recommend working here if you plan on staying long term.

    Pros

Fantastic work environment. Excellent training session. Paid company parties.
