Millcreek is a place where troubled children spend a large amount of their life and I am thankful for organizations as such. They have a lot on their plate and have made progress over the years. You will absolutely get enough hours as an employee there, if you want them. And if you are interested in pursing a career in this type of environment, you will absolutely gain an experience and increase your knowledge and skills, that I believe in the end will prepare you for anything!
Cons
Management gets confusing at times, and the scheduling can be hectic. The worst part was the lack of professionalism in the staff, especially after hours when the office was closed. The children are a challenge, but the children are there because they need significant help. The pay is not great. If the staff were more efficient and treated their job more seriously, I believe the company and clients would improve.

- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Great experience for entry level into mental health field
Cons
Many safety concerns due to the lack of staff and high turnover rate. Administration is reactive versus proactive when dealing with crisis situations. Agency tries to cover up unethical issues and does not inform everyone like they should.

Pros
They are frequently looking to hire. Good insurance.
Cons
Employee contracts are changed when management needs to meet budget or expand the business. Employees are required to take off without pay when the company decides. Unless employees use their earned PTO, if any is available, insurance deductions are not met so the employee has to pay them out of their next check twice. There are no bonuses. Facilities are understaffed and employees are required to perform outside their duties to help meet the company needs to save money with no regard for staff safety, patients' needs or compensation. HR will not answer the phone or return calls.
