Pay was not where it should have been and ops is all in baltimore which for a west coast seller is a huge challenge

I worked at Millennial Media full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible, relaxed work environment. Free breakfast in the mornings. Fast growing industry leads to a fast paced work environment. Lots of different opportunities for a variety of different careers.

    Cons

Company was sold to AOL. The deal hadn't closed yet before I left, but a lot of people were uneasy about how things would turn out. There were some layoffs.

    Pros

Best job ever. Great people, great culture, great perks. Only wish the company had survived to continue on its own path. Miss Team Green!

    Cons

None. CEO could have been more visible and engaged at all levels across the organization but a strong leadership team with great people practices.

    Advice to Management

Take that energy you brought to Millennial and do it again. Find another opportunity to bring the team back together. Probably the strongest operations group in any company.
