I worked at Millennium Restaurant Group part-time

      Pros

Good people to work with and always happy to help their teammates out. Very energetic group of managers. Over all great place to work for a college job.

      Cons

Typical of any other restaurant job that anyone would have. Hours on some of the slower nights aren't that good.

      Advice to Management

Continue to invest in training of staff. They are the front line people in your establishments. Ensure someone is always present at the front door.

I have been working at Millennium Restaurant Group

      Pros

Very clean facilities. Customers are generally of an above-average middle class income range to very wealthy depending on which restaurant you work at. These, in general, leads to a high quality in service performance and compensation for hard work than other restaurants, but also results in lower turnover than other restaurant opportunities.

      Cons

Not enough emphasis is placed on removing age-old stigmas from the restaurant industry. Employees would know that working for Millennium is truly a premium opportunity if general restaurant-industry problems such as distrust between the front of house and back of house were eliminated in a more effective manner.

      Advice to Management

Take bigger strides in stamping out issues that come up rather than allowing restaurant managers to do nothing about them because they are not ambitious enough to deal with them in an effective, professional manner.

      Doesn't Recommend
      Negative Outlook

I worked at Millennium Restaurant Group part-time

      Pros

Good work environment - Friendly co-workers most of the time

      Cons

Management policies absurd in specific locations. Little incentive to be a long-term employee. Fired staff that have been there for a long time over nothing. Places blame on lower management rather than upper.

      Advice to Management

When someone has given a long period of time to the company, give them a reason to stay.

I have been working at Millennium Restaurant Group

      Pros

You get to listen to great bands play while working, make good money and is close to WMU campus

      Cons

Mgmt is unorganized. Information about company goals/ objectives are not distributed to everyone in a consistent way. Sections are made by mgrs and are sometimes biased based on out of work relationships

      Advice to Management

Be fair to everyone when making sections, scheduling shifts and stop feeding into gossip
