    Small company with family feel

    Pros

Small company that is close knit and often feels like a family. Plenty of support to get the job done no matter your role. Given the technology to get tasks done efficiently.

    Cons

Not a lot of room for growth considering the size of the company. Some policies and methods of how things work do not work efficiently. For example, one branch books loads for another branch, but it only makes things unclear for the branch actually shipping the loads.

    Pros

If coming through temp it is a long process to be hired on with the company if you bring your game face on and is ready to work . They show lots of appreciation to there employees.

    Cons

They don't accept tardiness . If not hired it's only seasonal for September or August the earliest starting but ends after Christmas.

    Pros

Very professional, our team was close, great resources, phenomenal experience.

    Cons

None, I had a very good experience. Maybe a corporate event amongst all the different departments so we could get to know each other a little more, but that's about it.

    Can Barely survive!

    Pros

    You get to drive.

    Cons

Although they say it is full time you are lucky to reach 34 hours a week. You must use your own vehicle and gas. Even though they provide a stipend of $3.15 hourly for gas compensation I end up spending more than that on gas and that does not consider oil changes and wear and tear and maintenance. I am actually making less than minimum wage working at this job. They schedule you for 8 hour work days but you only work about 7 hours during the week. On Saturdays you are scheduled to work until 5:30 but the shops close at 3:00 and you still put the same amount of miles on your vehicle. They will fire you if you call in sick or argue with you and are not nice to work for. If you happen to break down they will send someone to pick up the parts and leave you stranded. I have blown through over $3000.00 in repairs on my vehicle and now and barely able to pay bills. If something happens I am up the creek without a paddle. Major drawback is that if you have a "backup" day you are required to be available to be called in so you cannot make plans to go anywhere. Schedule changes every week and you never know if you are going to get 30+ hours or a measly 20. No one can support a family with this type of job and it seems that they just use people until their vehicle explodes and replace them. In my opinion companys like this should not exist. It only promotes an attitude of worthlessness and can contribute to an accident.

One of the most stressful experiences of my career

Nov 22, 2016 - Director of Catering in Los Angeles, CA

    Pros

The magnificence of the ballrooms is amazing and the banquet service and setup teams were outstanding. There are very talented sales and catering managers that are being wasted at this Hotel.

    Cons

The company's leaders allow individuals with no experience in the industry to micromanage the managers to death. There is no control over the sales process and managers book business to the detriment of the hotel.
