I have been working at Miller-Valentine full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I have worked for Miller-Valentine for over 10 years. Change is recognized, embraced and implemented in a collaborative manner. The leadership including the CEO are approachable and responsive - actively listening and evaluating what is best for creating and growing profit but most importantly, what is best for the employees.

    Cons

The current transition of company has created some confusion however, I do see this being addressed.

    Advice to Management

Keep communicating often and in various formats to reach all employees.

I have been working at Miller-Valentine full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

New leadership on all levels is outstanding. Our CEO is doing amazing things to grow our core business and I look forward to our future. I don't mind giving 110% because it’s recognized and appreciated. I truly feel valued and love the family type culture.

    Cons

The toilet paper could be little softer...just kidding! I don't have any cons and a five word minimum is required in this field.

    Advice to Management

Keeping being outstanding and I like the new quick stand up meeting style to update everyone at once.

I have been working at Miller-Valentine full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I love working at Miller-Valentine. I have been with the company 25 years and have worked with the sales team on and off. I joined the construction team about 15 years ago and still love my job! My responsibilities have grown over the years and that keeps the day to day interesting and challenging. It's great to work with people who depend on you to do your job and trust that you are competent to do your job and don't micro manage what you do.

    Cons

Training programs could be adopted for new hires. I would not mind spending a couple of days working with new hires in administrative positions so that they at least know our marketing standards, etc. I feel that new hires at least need to be exposed to standard practices.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the communication flowing.

    Cons

Nothing I can see yet but I'm sure there is something, no place is perfect and if it was that would be pretty boring!
