I worked at Miller's Ale House full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Growing company & has a great concept...They care about guest experience & employees. They have a great I.T. Department

    Cons

They put to much extra work on managers when their main focus should be running shifts instead doing surveys & marketing stuff. corporate should have a team come do that.

    Advice to Management

need to get rid of the managers that have so many complaints from guests its ridiculous & only reason they still have a job because they snitch on everyone to upper management...they are not helping the company being one of the faces of your Brand

I worked at Miller's Ale House part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the other coworkers are friendly and supportive when then managers bully other employees.

    Cons

The managers are bullies and they are just down right mean. I have nwver work for a group that was so disrespectful to their employees. They played favorites and if you were not one of them then they was just yelling and ccursing at you all the time even if it wasnt your fault. They have like 15 or more people quit a month.

    Advice to Management

Fire all the managers in that one place and hire managers that actually can manage people.

    Pros

Great place to work, employees and management is a family environment. It’s always busy so you know you’re going to make money.

    Cons

The hours can be long and stressful, customers don’t always tip 20% but that is something you must learn to compromise with.
