    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Milwaukee School of Engineering full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great office, generally enjoyable to come to work, not micro-managed, get to work for prestigious university

    Cons

Not many opportunities for advancement, seems like they want you to move on after a few years, low pay, will want you to work a lot of weekends

    Advice to Management

Any incentives or bonuses for performance would be great. More reviews/feedback of practices and supervisors from employees would help change things up a bit.

I have been working at Milwaukee School of Engineering full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The university does a great job of keeping students needs in mind. They know my studies come first and my job comes second. This is the correct mentality for how difficult a school this is.

    Cons

A job along with school is very demanding. It can put a lot of stress on you.

    Advice to Management

Keep the students in mind when making decisions.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Milwaukee School of Engineering part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers. It was easy to trade shifts if you had to study for a big exam coming or pick up extra shifts for money. It was also part of the work study program. You can trade entire shifts as well for the semester so if you do not like your hours you can swap with another worker

    Cons

You can get a wonky work schedule depending on when your classes are. There was a problem with certain workers making it to work on time or remember they had work.

    Advice to Management

Try to get people to actually show up on time. Other than keep on doing what you are doing.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Milwaukee School of Engineering (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great health and dental insurance,
If you have kids that will be entering college and go here its free which is a huge benefit.

    Cons

Very low pay across the board for all positions compared to the industry standards.
Not that friendly of an atmosphere.
It is expected to do much more with less. Being completely over loaded with work is the norm.
Extra benefits are not great other than that mentioned in the pros section, vacation is far below what it should be.
Salary increases are a slap in the face if and when they are issued.
