I worked at Mina Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Chef Mina has two Michelin stars and he is a nice humble man. The upper management team seem very divided and there is never a simple agreement.

    Cons

HR/ junior managers socializes with staff. You will see them drinking in some dive bar around town.
The follow up time is extremely long, therefore they lost lots of good people.

    Advice to Management

Stop being cheap and pay your managers what they deserve.
Hired industry professionals verses a bunch of amateurs.
    Good luck

I worked at Mina Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Family meals were great!
    Great location
Not sure what else to say
50 percent off of food and beverage
I wish there was more to write

    Cons

Very long hours 12+ hours, 6 days a weeks
Management doesn't care about their employee. Had the opportunity of having chef Mina at our restaurant within the first month that I was there. He didn't introduce himself to me, just told me to go get someone for him.
Other managers do not support you, they are just out to get you and don't really care about the whole team. The are always over your shoulder and pointing out everything that is wrong but are not willing to help out.
There were never enough line line staff and managers were no concerned about wanted to fire people instead of wanting to grow the team. Constantly understaffed it was embarrassing.
There benefits are really bad. Only a week vacation when you are working the hours stated above is crazy.
I am concerned by their HR systems, everything that I did was filled out on paper. I filled out my direct deposit paper and that somehow got lost and I ended up with a paper check. I never had problems but I was told that paychecks weren't never correct and this was for management.

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat employees right. It sounded like the guy that I replaced felt the same way when he left.

    Pros

Great work environment, great team and awesome benefits!!! I have been working here for the last few years and other than the great work environment, the added benefits are just amazing! Great job to have if you love working in the restaurant industry!

    Cons

Company is in constant growth, and as such sometimes things change. Not necessarily a bad thing but you sometimes have to be a little flexible.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!!!

I worked at Mina Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good place to work, friendly people, good equipment, put the customer first.

    Cons

Favorites, politics, drama-filled, empty promises and manipulation. Not worth the pay, for the amount of responsibilities and work that is thrown on you. Do not be surprised when someone under you is promoted.

    Advice to Management

Keep an eye on your line supervisors and managers at each restaurant. They play favorites and most managers do drugs with the employees.

I worked at Mina Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Meeting new people
    Food taste great
Only two pros I have seen and agree too

    Cons

    High turn over rate
Management talk badly about employees in front of other employees
    No open door policy
Harassment from supervisor about sexual orientation
    Less pay
Favoritism between management and some employees
Throw away a lot of food when the store closes (waste of money)

    Advice to Management

Fire people in a proper manner don't wait until 25 minutes before the start of there shift and have a bogus lie about the reason of firing. Treat employees with respect no one is beneath each other we are all here to do a job. Hire people who really haves supervisor skills not someone who bark orders and don't show you how to properly do the job, but when a complaint comes acknowledge it don't put all the blame on your crew. Stop favoritism and HR needs to be in more tune with the store instead of listening to he/she said from other management when you don't know what's really going on.
