I have been working at Mindbody full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fun work culture, managers won’t micromanage you. They spend a ton on marketing to generate leads for you so you don’t have to cold call if that’s not your cup of tea. Full medical, dental and vision insurance. $65/month wellness card. Lots of PTO. Snacks and coffee provided.

    Cons

Lots of change but same can be said for any company in my experience. Learn to be resourceful and how to find answers for yourself.

I worked at Mindbody full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I got to work with some amazing people until everything fell through. Free coffee, tea, organic fruit, great trainers, great campus and fun events.

    Cons

Laid off 700 ppl over an email and then more during second rounds of lay off. No good reasons given. Good over quota achieving reps were laid off while brand new ones stayed. Little to no communication to those that were furloughed. Those who are still there have received a huge pay cut and pay is now below industry standard. Hourly pay instead of salaried and 50% reduction to commissions. Product is priced high and clients are over promised. So much churn for both clients and employees and good employees are leaving for the pay they deserve. Upper management is also leaving for better. Cut all perks that justified their outdated hourly pay. 401k match is gone along with wellness cards, tuition reimbursement and SDR team that supported reps.

I have been working at Mindbody full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

MINDBODY continues to hold their meetings and day to day working towards their core values. The company is driven to help business owners maintain their businesses. A group of good people working together.

    Cons

In the past 3 years the sales comp has gone down over 7 times. When COVID hit, they were not at all prepared and ended up making the decision to let go and furlough over 700 employees. Then they cut the pay, 401k, wellness benefits, etc for everyone else. MINDBODY was bought by the invest firm, Vista. While this will allow the company to stay afloat, working for this company is not something I see as enjoyable anymore. The focus (though spoken loudly) is not actively focused on the customer or the employees.. it is strictly about making and saving money. Understandable. But if you thrive off of being passionate about your companies mission, the culture of your work environment and making money, a sales role (or any other) is probably not the place for you.

I worked at Mindbody full-time for more than a year

    Pros

great company culture, a lot of fun gatherings, free fruit, upward mobility if you take initiative

    Cons

gave up and let go almost 1000 people, pay disparity among hires, new hires got paid more then me even though I was there for more than 8 months so it didn't make sense for them to be paid more

I worked at Mindbody full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent pay but that's about it.

    Cons

Ineffectual and caustic management. Bullies who are not held accountable. Clique-ey childish culture. Chest beating constantly about core values that are only followed if there is no effort required. As if someone read the book Catch 22 and decided that was an excellent SOP manual to follow. Extremely poor internal application process and human resources department.
