RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Mindbody full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
The company is multifaceted and has opportunities for a wide range of experience and talent, with plenty of opportunity for growth. Mindbody genuinely cares for its employees' wellbeing and offers great benefits. They are a constant advocate of work/life balance. They put care and thought into creating a culture that is fun, dynamic, and inclusive. The People and Culture team regularly asks for employee feedback and makes a noticeable effort to implement changes based on survey results. The leadership team is smart, (seemingly) transparent, and has guided the company through incredible growth. The clients that mindbody serves are amazing and inspiring individuals that make it easy to find purpose in your career (assuming health and wellness resonates with you).
Cons
If you are uncomfortable with change this probably wouldn't be a good environment for you. The company has always changed direction/focus pretty consistently. It gets extra confusing and hard to keep up with when the focus goes back and forth. You have to be willing to adapt and trust. In general, if you invest yourself in the company they will be there for you - up to the point of a global pandemic. I guess we can call that an outlier. It was disheartening to see that a month after hundreds of layoffs the company opened up 49+ positions in the India office.
Pros
Collaborative environment. Supportive and fun culture at a growing company.
Cons
Certain sales associates can be cutthroat and selfish.

Pros
People here are overall very friendly and help each other. I really like working for this company. Mindbody invests a lot into wellness and helped the community by showing support for BLM, encouraging voting, and enabling employees to help our community.
Cons
constantly changing and innovating can sometimes be a bit stressful as you are having to pivot and adapt to the changes.
