Give employees opportunities for advancement BEFORE they have another offer on the table you have to counter. Raises help too

I worked at Mindshare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great Culture! You will learn a lot! Very progressive! Very flexible!

    Cons

Be prepared to work LONG hours without acknowledgement. WPP does not believe in RAISES (merit based, cost of living...etc.)

    Advice to Management

Mindshare Atlanta will continue to lose talent if they do not confirm to a COMPETITIVE industry pay scale.

I have been working at Mindshare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Vendor outings occasionally, meet some nice friends

    Cons

HR here is horrible. If you try and get help with anything they will push your problem under the rug. They don't care about their employees and foster a toxic work environment despite people speaking up about it.

    Advice to Management

Use your position of power for good, not just for the title/because your a certain age. People quit all the time due to poor management.

I worked at Mindshare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - The account I worked on was great and the clients were challenging but rewarding. - Compensation is fair across levels for an agency

    Cons

    - Manager created chaos among team members and client. - Lacks management & HR support - No work life balance - The manager openly discriminated against men over women, although she was a woman. - The manager would undercut team members to other team members causing distrust and discomfort. - Honestly, I have never seen this level of unethical behavior by an EVP ever and the fact no one has done anything... about her is appalling to me.

    Advice to Management

    - Just because someone has been there a long time doesn't mean they should still be there. Look at why so many people are unhappy and moving off of an account and you will see who is the problem. - Additionally, an EVP that leads Diversity and Inclusion conversations across the organization and acts as a mentor to junior associates but acts completely opposite of the core beliefs of diversity and inclusion... shouldn't represent the company in that manner. - Pay attention to the leadership actions and NOT what they SAY! contradictions are all over that company
