Concept of professionalism, ethics, and common sense is a out of the world concept here. Lots of favoritism.

I have been working at Mindtree full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training program for those who are new to the IT industry.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed

    Cons

    -Horrible salary and worse raises
-People function is a mess to deal with
-Colleagues tend to have have low levels of education
-There can be a lot of politics depending on your project
    -Horrible training resources
-Management either doesn't care, is in denial, or is too busy looking after their own *donkeys* to fix any of the systemic issues of the company

    Advice to Management

You can shear a sheep many times, but you can only skin it once.

I worked at Mindtree full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You may learn something if you are generally new to programming.

    Cons

Mindtree is a consulting firm as such the projects that come in are the ones that clients don't want to do and are generally not interesting or engaging. Clients are mostly looking for the job to be done as quickly and as cheaply as possible with no interest in quality.

Upper management doesn't have a technical bone in their body. Policies will be changed without ever letting anyone know about it until it affects you. They will create open ended statements of work and promise the world to clients without ever consulting the people doing the work. It’s all about bringing as much money into the center so the delivery managers can meet their quota and get their bonuses, even if that means forcing people to work 60 hours work weeks and forcing them to work weekends as well. You are treated as a number (starting with a “m”) and most important emails such as promotions and raises will be communicated to via automated faceless emails in plain text no less.

The main driving point of the center is how “Agile” the center is. In reality the Gainesville delivery center could be the furthest thing from agile. Most clients use the waterfall methodology and don’t want to be agile. The center itself doesn’t have the infrastructure either with a Continuous Integration server that’s not maintained, code quality tools that aren’t enforced or up-to-date, and lack of training on best practices and standards. Top this all off with an upper management that doesn’t know what it means to be agile.

When you leave they will also try to entrap you by withholding your final paycheck(s) from when you put in your letter of resignation to 15-20 days after your final day.

    Advice to Management

Straighten up and respect your employees or else they aren't going to respect you back.

I have been working at Mindtree full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Gave some good learning experience as fresher, not for experienced

    Cons

Once I moved to onsite , things were different . Continuous mental harassment, incompetent directors, just concentrating only on revenue side.

Employees are treated very bad ,especially a directors, treat the employees so badly and makes everyone to feel low, we see atleast 5 people quit in last 3 months .

GC process - forget it !!!!

If you want to learn and grow ,this is not the place.

    Advice to Management

Dont concentrate only on Revenue, listen to aspirations of employees

I have been working at Mindtree full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Few customers of MT are good and they provide a learning oppurtunity

    Cons

Directors and SMs think they are super powers and harass the Technical Lead and managers , expect to work 24*7 ,we have seen many people threatened ,made to feel low and forced to leave to India or thrown out of work .Especially don't join the project at Melville,NY. Everyday we work here ,its the most sick environment.

GC promise is lie as they will tie it to your performance and whatever you do ,they will say you are below the expected performance.
Most of the people in team are trying to quit and looking for opportunities outside.

No job security , Directors and managers will go to any extent and speak ill words and harass you. Don't even think of joining of this company as this is not a company as it was in past.HR team just does what the account managers want, useless.

    Advice to Management

Take care of employees as well, try to be the company which was 5 years before.

    Pros

Get salary on time during paycycles.

    Cons

Absolutely ridiculous senior management, long time psycho directors in company who will screw you up , 5 people work is milked from 1 person , no work life balance,

GC processing is a joke, they will promise but make sure it does not happen

    Advice to Management

Mindtree is no longer employee oriented.

I worked at Mindtree (More than a year)

    Pros

Medical Benefits were pretty good. If you got lucky, you could work with a good team with a decent lead.

Constantly hiring as offered salaries for experience are a laughable.

Good at fooling entry level employees.

    Cons

Technical Management is imported from the mother country regardless of skill level. Being a yes-man and willingness to back stab is a valued skillset. Getting and keeping the contract is more important than providing the client with the best possible service. Don't ever rock the boat or suggest a newer, better way. Bonus plan is full of gotchas and backdoors to avoid paying--and your salary won't be worth it without the bonus.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! We're all counting on you!

    Pros

nothing I can find apart from spoiling career

    Cons

These people dont have projects at all, by taking employee as full time if they dont have project for you, they will ask you to relocate to India in 2 weeks, otherwise have to put resignation, which is worst part. Before joining they will say all false promises which they cant ever stand by..No concern about the employee, worst I have seen

    Advice to Management

Get projects else dont hire proffessionals for spoiling their career
