Great leadership team that cares about all workers, IE team is very flexible and welcoming for all projects.

I worked at Mine Safety Appliances as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone at MSA was happy to help me learn and grow. Very relaxed atmosphere. Probably one of the more ethical companies you can work for. For just my second rotation, I was tasked with fixing bugs, adding features, and even redesigning systems in actual product code (as opposed to internal tools). MSA gives you plenty of opportunity--it's up to you to cease it.
Full timers seemed to like it quite a bit. Seemed stable.

    Cons

The salary is decent, but seems a bit low compared to other (very nice) places. Some full timers say moving up can be slow, especially for higher positions. Because positions are so stable, they don't seem to higher very often

    Advice to Management

You may be losing out on good engineers because of the salary.
