I have been working at Miniso full-time

    Pros

Co-workers were fun to work with. The environment is fast-paced and you don't get stuck doing one task. Products are cute and affordable.

    Cons

Complaints are ignored. Schedules are messed up. Upper management didn't know how to operate register and troubleshoot. Inventory sucked but we still get yelled at for doing poor in sales by upper management. Little to no benefits and no holiday pay. They have too many communication methods. Figure out which one you want to use and stick with it. Don't message employees...

    Advice to Management

Don't expect people to respect you when you don't respect them. Don't toss new employees onto the floor and expect them to know what to do when they have yet to be trained. Stop with the ineffective quick solutions, try to fix the source of the problem. Hire an overnight team to complete go-backs, inventory, and layout changes. It's impossible to complete during opening hours.

I have been working at Miniso full-time for less than a year

    Pros

This is a start-up company where there are many career advancement opportunities. It is good to be a part of something that is being built from the ground up and actually say that you are a part of it, and that you helped, however small, build it to what it could be. The company itself is projected to grow and expand in a short amount of time, starting with a couple of retail locations in the beginning of 2017, and grow...

    Cons

Since it is a start-up, there are no benefit packages as of now, but management is looking into setting up employee benefits as soon as possible.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I worked at Miniso part-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you meet good people , then u are really lucky.

    Cons

People who work longer than you or higher status than you will mistreat you. They go by the rule of “ cusomter is always right “ which you are always at fault even if you did the right thing. pay is really Low and they expect a lot . Does not listen to product feedback. No benefit in working here. Not even staff discount. When there is manpower shortage , you have to go back to work even if it is your off day.

    Advice to Management

If you treat your worker nicer , then u would not face “ Low manpower “ issue.

I have been working at Miniso part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    · Getting the cool products first · Co-workers are wonderful

    Cons

    · Upper management is so busy opening a brand new store every single week that they neglect caring about the people that work in these stores. They have failed to consider the fact that due to their lack of proper communication and respect for store managers/keyholders/store associates, the employee turnover rate is high. · Instead of guiding and helping us on what needs to be fixed or improved, upper management thinks...

    Advice to Management

Try spending a day in our shoes as a store employee to empathize with how much we do for this company. It's not easy... We're all in constant stress and under a lot of pressure to maintain the store. Especially with being paid minimum wage, we shouldn't be feeling overwhelmed with the amount of workload and harsh words being thrown at us. Also, attempt to listen to your employees instead of ignoring their concerns, suggestions...

I have been working at Miniso part-time

    Pros

Most co-workers are friendly and welcoming

    Cons

No real training (supervisor talked to me for less than 5 min to tell me what to do) No benefits for part timers (not even a small discount for purchases) Unorganized work hours (sometimes *being told* not being asked to come in early a couple hours before original shift)

    Advice to Management

Give part time workers some benefits. Like even a little discount. I’ve previously worked at McDonald’s and they treat their workers well. 50% discount on meals, discounts at payless, softmoc, hotels etc.

    I worked at Miniso

    Pros

The Store Managers are nice and willingly to help you get through a tough day at work.

    Cons

There is currently no benefit in placed for Miniso. They say they are working on it because they are new, but that is their answer for everything so I really don't know how reliable they are. I have lost absolute faith with this company. Goodbye Forever.

    Advice to Management

Treat the Team Member like Humans.
