I worked at Ministry of Health Kingdom of Saudi Arabia full-time

    Pros

General public is very good helpful and kind

    Cons

I was selected for MOH jizan, when I reached there no own came to pick me up,even after calling many times no one approached, then one of friend took me to a hotel and I paid for it,the next day with great difficulty reached MOH office, they took me to sabya ,hospital from the second day they put me on call, not even orientation time was given, they did not want to understand that I am new and have come from different country(India),don't know the languages and cases, public was very good but some Saudi doctors and administrators behave very badly, they think we are slaves,I was tortured with hectic 24 hrs duty every second day,I did my arrival and appointment formalities with great difficulty,as no one helps u and most forms are in Arabic, neither housing allowance, nor furniture allowance or speciality allowance was given ,when asked every month they said the next month ,instead of 6 specialist we were only 3,slowly I became very sick and came home with emergency leave, and was depressed for long time,my sincere advice to all brothers to not go for jobs to Saudi they treat you very badly

    Advice to Management

You know that a doctor us coming from a distant country and nonarabic, then why can't u send someone to pick up,as promised why can't u pay him all allowances without difficult procedures, why can't you give him enough time for orientation and to know the cases, why cant u have proper human resources, enough staff and doctors, finally please treat us as human beings, just think when we go back to our country what will be the opinion about your country
