I worked at Minute Clinic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Schedule can be accommodating, always get lunch, feels good to be able to be independent. Pay was fair. Nice to work some weekends and have time off thru the week.

    Cons

Stuck in a room with no window for 10 hours a day. Time constraint from MC and patients:can't move fast enough. Very corporate. Bound to guidelines with some being out of date or not best practice. Supervising physician not picking up phone call. Many MANY work obligations not shared with new hires. Dangerous to be alone in a small room with only one door with some of the clientele. Just to name a few.

    Advice to Management

Need to be honest about job responsibilities. Need to ease up on the time constraint so provides can do an adequate job. Need to ease up with the guidelines and let these highly educated professionals use their brains. Need to deliver the bonuses and raises originally promised instead of having employees buy Target.

I have been working at Minute Clinic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co workers are supportive and nice, if you need a snack you don't have far to go bc you are in a store, that's about it!

    Cons

Poor management, low pay, hours, no support, all about the money, no use of clinical knowledge well, lots of secretary duties, multiple job duties in one but not paid for all the duties! No help, you work alone, be ready to get cussed out by patients who don't get antibiotics! High turnover!! You could loose your job if your NPS score is low!! On call is required!! And weekends!!

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees
