I have been working at Miraca Life Sciences full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent experience, able to move up. Work with some great people. Chance of learning and being train on new tasks is high.

    Cons

Hard work doesn't always pay off. Depending on what relationship is with management, if you make a mistake it will always be used against you.

    Advice to Management

Don't reward lazy people with promotions or raises. Reward those who do more than just show up.

    Pros

The cons completely outweigh the pros

    Cons

There are some very questionable leadership roles in the organization. Unfortunately ego and complacency trump common sense and customer dedication. Japanese ownership further complicates the issues. Company is moving backwards. New CEO is unproven. Time will tell but I fear the worst.

    Advice to Management

You don't know what you don't know

I have been working at Miraca Life Sciences full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Job security, overall vision is promising, (just going to take some time to get there) free coffee, onsite fitness center, good benefits, 401k with matching, some extremely genuine and intelligent employees keep the moral up, no micromanaging, some of senior leadership gets it and the rest needs to go.

    Cons

Expectations are unrealistic across the board! Set up for failure in many cases. Compensation needs to be revised to the current market. Some really solid employees are significantly underpaid while some less qualified employees are overpaid. Some leaders are driving the company into the ground while others are keeping it afloat.

    Advice to Management

Set Clear, realistic, Expectations, and reward solid employees! Listen to front line teammates! Revamp leadership!

    Pros

Great pay. Talented, experienced, hard working employees.

    Cons

The workload is too much for just one person. Some people get to chose what they want to do while others get told what they have to do. Layoff was very humiliating for those who have put in the hard work and time. No respect or appreciation.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and stop with the favoritism. Stop rewarding the people for being unprofessional and disrespectful.
