    Pros

Proposed pay and at home work schedule

    Cons

This is a complete Scam. Apparently it has been taken place in other cities too. They sent a check that was supposed to cover the expenses for me to join, and the bank security took it, saying that fraud employers were using checks to gain job seekers personal information. dodged that bullet. Watch out, this is an Australian company, and could be being used to seem credible.

    Pros

Glassdoor just going to force my to type a Pro.

    Cons

This is a complete scam. In DALLAS, TX the job post associated with Justin Gill is a scam. They WILL send you a $3k check, that according to my banker, will not cover the expected expense, in an effort to gain job seekers credit and identification information.

The ACTUAL Mirvac company, is not worth much to me either. I contacted the Australia based company to verify that they were even hosting job positions in my area and after the basic kickback message and a few other attempts to validate the job offer, the company was unresponsive.

    Pros

    Good to have in resume

    Cons

-mostly everyone hired are a family member or friend of someone inside
-they have lots of political issues
-managers bosses around and pass their responsibilities
-they dont train their managers to be a leader; none of the managers know how to recognise effort or good work
-their work-life balance is a bandwagon propaganda
-they always advertise how they can provide flexible arrangments but it is all joke because it only applies to management
-managers get rid of hardworking employee because they find them a threat
-this company and their management makes me ill and I always need to use my sick day for mental health day. No one really cares about how hardworking you are.
-Managers passes their responsibilities to you but they get the recognition from the seniors.
-they have to put their advertisement or words to action
-the senior management thinks they always need to be looked after first than anyone else, they always want you to prioritise their issues first than anyone

    Advice to Management

Put your advertisement or words to action.
    Re-evaluate you management.
    Promote more recognition at work.
    Reach out to your employees.
Set aside friendship and be professional.

    Pros

Modern office environment. Were always very focused on staff engagement and work/life balance.

    Cons

With all the effort getting staff to be engaged and loyal, Mirvac was not prepared to show the same loyalty to staff with massive lay offs seen as an "easy" way to save money and increase the bottom line by a fraction of a percent.

    Advice to Management

An agile, healthy, and profitable business model shouldn't have to resort to treating staff as disposable pawns in a penny pinching operation. If you want staff to truly value working for Mirvac, don't treat skilled staff like they have no value beyond their representation on a expenses report.

I worked at Mirvac full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Big well-known brand. Convinient location of Sydney office. Many good people that sadly have to bear lots of bullying to not loose their jobs.

    Cons

The worst company I've ever worked for. Lots of office politics. Lack of honesty and integrity. Managers bully and harass their subordinates and support unhealthy agressive relationship among people on the same level. Lots of passive aggressive behaviour from management end. Salaries are pretty low. No career progression opportunities. No clear segregation of duties. Don't even try to protect yourself and to search for a help - your own manager will be the first to blame you, to harass you and to humiliate you, and as punishment you may even lose your job. Even if you simply have tried to find any support or help. HR turns a blind eye on everything going on. No training ever happens in this company. Everyone is blaming everyone. And survive the most agressive and ruthless, or quiet ones who are scared and know that at some point they will leave this terrible company. I've been in bad work environments before, but nothing was as bad and unhealthy as Mirvac Sydney office.

If you've applied for a job with Mirvac and have been rejected - celebrate this! You've escaped evil. There are plenty of other employers on the market that will appreciate you, will provide you much healthier work environment and will reward you accordingly.

    Advice to Management

    Advice to CEO:
1/ if you would replace all senior and middle management with their old culture of bullies, you would benefit your company a lot.
    2/ practice what you preach.
    3/ support your people genuinely.

    I worked at Mirvac full-time

    Pros

I was able to work close to home.

    Cons

To many to name. Management do not take accountability and the threat of losing your job a tool to keep you allegedly focussed. Would not recommend.

    Advice to Management

Remove upper and middle management all together. Look at Centre teams for wastage.

    Pros

Okay money, friendly staff and all work equipment provided and maintained.

    Cons

Head office treat you just like a number and are only concerned with their budgets and forecasts as opposed to putting any effort into their staff. Jobs continuously being cut leaving staff redundant.

    Advice to Management

Tale more pride and care of your passionate staff
