I worked at Mississippi College (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was a student worker for the school and it was a very low maintenance job, I really enjoyed it and being able to interact with other students that I would normally meet.

    Cons

Not really any cons, I enjoyed it!

I have been working at Mississippi College part-time

    Pros

Professors are always very willing to work with you.
Very good at coordinating with one another.

    Cons

They don't allow you to use the computers or projectors within the science building, which would make our jobs 1000x easier.
Many days our rooms for tutoring are given up to athletic study hall, despite no rooms in the adjacent building being used after 5:00 on those days.

    Pros

Good staff relationships, Gain experience in clerical duties, event planning, communication/team-work, and time-management, Very rewarding when you establish relationships with residents

Be open to listening to ideas and concerns of your RAs instead of shooting them down, treat RAs with a little more respect
