I worked at Mississippi National Guard full-time

    Pros

Work environment is great. If you want to feel like your job has a larger purpose, even if you are just doing routine work, this is the type of place for you. Plus you get to work with men and women who have risked their lives for our country so it keeps things in perspective. There are also ample opportunities for advancement as this is a very large multi-faceted organization. The best part is probably the abundance of time off because it is government work.

    Cons

Sometimes you have to deal with egos. It comes with the territory. You'll learn how to manage.
