    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Mitsubishi Electric Automation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A well recognized name in the industry with leading technology implemented into their products. Products are made in Japan and quality is typically good.

    Cons

Management is inexperienced and very political. Company is full of bureaucracy. There is no work/life balance and job expectations are not reasonable.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep good people on your team for the long term, put managers with people skills and experience in place. Working for a company that truly cares about their people will go along way. Also, improve the extreme lack of communication and get everyone on the same page. Lastly, nix the drama and the self promoting agendas.

I worked at Mitsubishi Electric Automation full-time

    Pros

Respected name and high quality product to go with it. Great exposure to global business perspective as a multinational corporation. Employees treated well along with the usual corporate benefits/perks.

    Cons

Pretty conservative. Good for those ok with status quo and stability. Not so much for a motivated person trying to make a splash or impact.

    Advice to Management

Don't get bogged down by parent company initiatives that slow progress and growth.

I have been working at Mitsubishi Electric Automation full-time

    Pros

It is a pleasure to work with so many dedicated and motivated individuals. Mitsubishi Electric works very hard to employ top talent; it shows in the caliber of those around me.

    Cons

It is kind of hard to point out any significant cons. Especially as a current employee. I can say, I do not think I have ever worked for a better company.

MEAU has a large organization name, but operates as a small company. The small company environment makes employees feel as though their contributions make a difference in the company's success. Management supports their employees professionally and personally.

    Cons

MEAU has low turnover which can lead to outdated operations and complacency. Employees aren't always held accountable for poor behavior.

    Advice to Management

Managers need to understand that managing people takes time and skill. Before becoming a manager, understand everything that is involved in managing people.
