    Pros

Easy going co-workers, turbine work can be tough but not all that stressful. Mitsubishi had good benefits and tools and equipment for the job.

    Cons

Working a lot with grease and oil. A lot of cleaning the turbine and doing repetitive tasks. Depending on location the weather can get pretty intense but it always changes eventually.

    Advice to Management

Management did a good job appreciating our efforts and how we kept most of the turbines online with little downtime. I would recommend rotating the crews a little more often so that we aren't doing repetitive tasks with the same people for a long period of time.

Excellent benefits and work balance. Nice coworkers and very respectful. S Harassment is not tolerated.

    Cons

Important decisions affecting employees take forever. No direction from upper management. Lack of vision for the future. Unpreparedness for upcoming large workloads. The only decision for the future is to decrease budget in spite of the anticipated upcoming extra orbital amount of work.

    Pros

Smooth and consistent work flow. The work is also very straight forward and easy to pick up on quickly.

    Cons

No room to grow or move up in the company. Upper management also treated their employees like children. There was a serious lack of respect for lower ranking employees.

    Advice to Management

Provide relevant incentives for your employees. And work on not punishing the entire department when one individual doesn't follow the rules.

I have been working at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many of the people working at MHIA have been working there for 20+ years. It's like a big family.

    Cons

They'll never promote you. I've been with the company for 6 years and unless you'd also like to do the same thing for the next 20 years - don't work here.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and try to value them a bit more. The company makes millions of dollars a year.
