I have been working at Mobile Doctors (IL) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You will receive a paycheck.
Nice places to eat in the area.
Very nice park located directly across the street.

    Cons

The building is raggedy and rundown
The building becomes a swimming pool in many areas.
    The restrooms are substandard.
Dirty dishes are left in the sinks for days.
    Turnover is rampant.
The previous comment indicated that 90% turnover was incorrect.
    True.
The turnover is more like 95%.
The only person with longevity is the owner.
The owner is very arrogant, self-centered and unprofessional.
He does not allow the staff to wear jeans in that raggedy building.

    Advice to Management

You should learn how to value good employees. Run your own company instead of depending on others who don't have your company as their top priority. Judge people by what you see, not by what you're told by arrogant liars.

    Pros

    I can't think of any pro's.

    Cons

Terrible place to work! HR lies to you during interview process. If you ask about turnover, they will say little to none. That is an absolute lie. I have to say 75-90%. I saw 4 employees either quit or be fired the first 2 weeks there and St. Louis branch is small, say 14 employees including doctors! Little training and throw you in and expect you to do your job right away. Office people are overworked. They hardly take lunch or breaks, because if they do, they will have to stay after hours. They are on salary and all work needs to be completed before next business day, so they don't get paid overtime, etc. Hard to find doctors, so they aren't the best, therefore Mobile Doctors has bad reputation in healthcare industry. They rely on healthcare agencies and hospitals to give them patient referrals, and since they have a bad reputation, they don't get many referrals. Many agencies and hospitals who once gave them referrals, wont anymore. Management staff is not qualified and lie to employees. Stories of patients being misdiagnosed/treated, mix up of medications, etc. I am giving you an honest review. It is best not to even get mixed up with this company, unless you are desperate for job.

    Advice to Management

Many healthcare agencies do not like you, wont be long until this office goes under in my opinion.

    Pros

They provide bagels and donuts in the morning.

    Cons

Uneducated branch managers with poor managment skills.

    Advice to Management

It should be required of all branch managers to have a 4 year degree in business management.

    Pros

Almost impossible to get fired unless you stealing money from the owner. Incompetent? Rude? Apply here! The pay is OK. There are a lot of companies out there offering worse.

    Cons

Unprofessional. People being condescending to patients on the phone. Yelling at each other. Petty gossip. Doctors with drug and alcohol problems and malpractice suits. Management plays favorites usually towards the newest people so you might think you have a good job for the first bit before they turn on you. Management deliberately pits employees against each other, promising the same promotion to more than one person to see how much extra work they will do while in suck-up mode, and then hiring from outside anyways. Constant promises that it's not always like this and it will be better as soon as whatever happens. If you don't work overtime they accuse you of not valuing your time as much as some people but if you work too much overtime they accuse of you stretching your hours. You'll see things happen that are just plain wrong (like violating labor laws and stuff) and they'll tell you that this how everybody does business so just deal with it.
