I worked at Mobile Doctors full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Service is needed in the community, and was very rewarding for field staff. The people were great and the office was a fun environment!

    Cons

Everyone worked very hard for the greater good....but greed became the bigger picture. No advancement opportunities unless you had a college degree, no matter how hard you worked, or how much you knew.

    Advice to Management

    Wasn't there a better way?

I worked at Mobile Doctors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Growing company, loved the patients. Worked in a nice office. Was able to get off work before 5pm which was nice.

    Cons

Greedy CEO, snotty management, terrible culture. Management was like a cult. You had to walk on egg shells and be fake in order to not be fired.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing, they closed.

    Pros

A much needed service was provided to patients in the undeserved population. Fun work environment, where holidays and birthdays were regularly celebrated.

    Cons

CEO negligence lead to the downfall of the company. Long hours were required. Company is no longer in existence.

    Advice to Management

Do not try to defraud the federal government.

I worked at Mobile Doctors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was decent and the potential for advancement was (at least seemingly) highly potential.

    Cons

The wrongdoings of a few sacrificed the financial well-being and stability of a larger population of honest and caring healthcare professionals.

I worked at Mobile Doctors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The office environment was wonderful and my coworkers were all fun and easy to get along with. Direct management was easy to work with.

    Cons

Long hours are expected, not patient care focused, high stress, low pay, bonuses were taken away, and promotion opportunities for existing employees are minimal.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to listen to what the real concerns are and address them. Don't be so concerned with what corporate thinks.

I worked at Mobile Doctors full-time

    Pros

Mobile Doctors is eager to hire new college grads, so it is easy to secure a position within the company. The company is also experiencing a lot of growth, so there are some opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

-Upper management/CEO uses scare tactic management in attempt to correct mistakes.
-It is almost impossible/frowned upon to take vacation time since there are limited employees at the branches.
-Poor benefits, lowest tier salary, raises/reviews are not done as scheduled due to lack of time for employees.
-issues with communication and organization due to limited staffing and growth of the company
-cold calls to seniors, almost seemingly conning podiatry patients into medical services.
-hiring of inadequate doctors because of low salary- most have histories of malpractice suits, firings, etc. the doctors are needed to grow the business so disciplinary measures are few and far between.
-CEO treats employees as they are just a number, often insulting in front of employees they manage
-Often work 12 hour days, work hours are 8:30-4:30 regularly, so there is not a paid lunch period or room for a lunch at all
-Meetings are filled with gossip, often issues don't get resolved.

    Advice to Management

Organization, respect and appreciate your employees, pay higher wages, or expect frequent turnover.
