I worked at MobileNet Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easiest interview of my life. I believe I was asked 2 questions when I was hired out of college. Their was a high demand for field work and thy were taking as many bodies as possible.

    Cons

Work-Life balance was nonexistent. If you have a close-knit family or relationship find another job. Endless overtime at one point which sounds good, but prepare to spend a lot of time on the road and alone; they will send as few resources as possible even if it means keeping one person out of state for a month rather than 2 engineers for 2 weeks. In states where a driver is not required you will be working maintenance windows (10pm-4am) in an unknown environment ALONE. A "good job" is the best you can ask for in terms of recognition. No defined path to promote. Training to excel to a job in the office/locally is nonexistent.

    Advice to Management

Define a path to promote good employees. Be understanding of the vital work/life balance especially when pay is so little. Provide training to help employees grow in the field not just in the small scope of assigned projects. Baseline driving is a dying industry, new skills are necessary for employees to be competitive in the field after layoffs.

I worked at MobileNet Services part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Just a good enough place where you can hang in for a while until you get your feet in some real company.

    Cons

Not really an Ideal Working Place, Totally biased staff , HR doesn't really have any idea what they are doing whole time sitting in the office, No chances of promotion, no work-life balance at all, should be available 24hrs on call, Whole lot of Engineers and Field Testers Joining and leaving the company throughout the year, No employee recognition, incompetent salary..

    Pros

Outstanding opportunity to learn and grow professionally in the company. The diversity amongst the teams and projects are great.

    Cons

The industry as a whole goes up and down and so just like other companies you have to adjust but that is not always a con.

    Advice to Management

Have a mentorship program where those that are interested in or show the traits of management can grow and have their talents harnessed to grow the company in ways that can only open up other possible avenues of revenue.
