    Pros

Exciting project development work. Smart people at all levels. Opportunities for growth. The company continues to secure big projects and is well positioned to take on more. Good environment for outside the box thinkers.

    Cons

Normal growing pains that are common to all project development work. Project based work is not for the faint of heart.

    Advice to Management

Continue to push for greater accountability and discipline.

    Pros

    has several nice office locations

    Cons

Senior leadership, director & above has been a revolving door. This is telling of a poorly run company. the culture rewards a bully mentality and encourages cutting corners including fudging results to clients.

    Advice to Management

    quit.

I have been working at Mobilitie full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Young , energetic, and smart staff team for most departments. The worker bees are mostly friendly, hard working and owning a sense of responsibility. However, staff-level individual contribution is hardly recognized: mid management takes credits from staff, and gives little or no recognition.

Compensation is above the market, and benefits are average.

    Cons

If you are good at bullying at workplace, this is the perfect place for you to thrive. The bully culture starts from the top executives: they will call you out at the company wide meeting in front of everyone if you make the worst march madness picks (the C-level executives think that is funny).

Middle management at the Newport Beach corporate office either takes credits from others working from non-corporate offices, or simply lies about accomplishment (for things that don't work they will tell top executives that're working perfectly), or rushes to project completion for personal interest.

Process is poor and severely behind the business needs. Lots of meetings: meetings of meetings, so one can pass the doing parts to the next person on the next meeting and so forth. Lots of software applications: none is nearly used to full capacity- when things don't work the way imagined, they will buy another app instead of solving the root problems (lack of resources and competency). People who are put in charge of process are usually incompetent, lacking right experiences, liars and/or bullies, so truth will rarely reach to the top level. Middle management usually doesn't have a clear clue of his or her department responsibilities: everyone is expecting someone else to do his or her job.

There are some good leaders at the middle and top management: only a few and not enough to turn the culture around.

    Advice to Management

Lean up your organization: focus on the company core, responsibility, competency and true talent. Open up your eyes: you have been and will continue losing talents as long as you allow yourself surrounded by bullies and liars.

I have been working at Mobilitie full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Open Office Design, Friendly Office Staff, Engaging Work Product. Free snacks! The people of Mobilitie really make this company. If not for the fun, friendly co-workers, Mobilitie would be an awful place to work. Fortunately, there are many young, energetic employees.

    Cons

Management is mis-aligned with the daily operations and expectations. The "bonus structure" is constantly changing and un-reachable. Communication, esepcially from upper management, is poor company-wide.

    Advice to Management

Offer internal upward potential advancement opportunities and give your managers more room accountability. Allow them more freedom and responsibility, and also more share of the repercussions. There is too much isolated control and refusal to empower mid-level managers.

    Pros

Fun company to work for, good people to be around. Great job if you need a short time bridge to something else, or if you are starting something on the side.

    Cons

Mid-level management is kind of clueless but that is pretty common. In their defense they have like 50+ direct reports so good luck with that. No real long term potential.

    Advice to Management

You have a good product and some good employees. Just get out of the way sometimes.
