I have been working at Mobilitie full-time

    Pros

There aren't really many other than the free beverages and snacks

    Cons

This place has the worst management I have ever seen. They actually have people with no experience running things. There is no direction given and promotions are blindly handed out. Not to mention the awful culture here. Bad management and a terrible culture equal a bad place to work.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to weed out people

    Look in the mirror
    Lack of decision making

I have been working at Mobilitie full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The growing pains of embarking on an unprecedented network buildout are subsiding. Although it took time and the loss of some good employees, Mobilitie’s knowledge efficiencies and market presence are finally being realized by both clients and competitors. To be successful here, you have to love what you do and consider the company as one team working towards a mutual goal. Be willing to work above what is expected so that you can learn and understand the responsibilities of your reporting manager and other departments and find ways to assist or contribute- this is a way to move up. Length of employment is less of a factor than knowledge, contribution, work ethic, and production. Leadership is now more open to change and recommendations than before. If you’ve been in the industry and can understand project fluctuations, I think you’ll realize how great Mobilitie’s culture really is and the opportunities they offer. A lot of the complaints and unmet expectations come from entitled former/current employees with no previous work experience, no industry background, or no initiative to learn more and work harder.

    Cons

Some departments need additional industry training and better tracking software. There are still some employees that could better listen to advice coming from those with industry and market experience. Accountability needs to improve- don’t be so quick to blame or write up people who speak up against a process that isn’t working, even if it shows a lack of knowledge on your part. No one knows or can do everything, but that’s why the word “teamwork” exists. Support and encourage your entire team and not just the ones that agree with everything you say. You risk an entire department failing that way.

    Advice to Management

Continue on the path of hiring and listening to those with industry knowledge and experience.

  8. "I love the culture and people"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    Pros

Overall the company is good, take care of good employees , value the people. Try to make the atmosphere more friendly . They are open to the ideas.

    Cons

They need to adjust the good employees better to keep them stay and not leave! Also I would like to add that the nature of telecom is the way that at one stage they need lots of people and when the project moves to different stage they might release them. So lay offs is the nature of telecom not the negative point for Mobilitie

    Advice to Management

    Focus more on motivating people!

  9. "Construction Project Coordinator"

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Travel, Networking, Salary, Freedom, Knowledge Growth. Great opportunity to grow within the company and industry if truly wanting to.

    Cons

Paying for travel then getting reimbursed. Must have money in your bank

    Advice to Management

Being at some venues to see what their systems look like as the final product. Some sales people might not know what all goes into some venues and how other teams have to work with what they have and how it effects the project.

I have been working at Mobilitie full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

By far the best corporate culture I’ve ever experienced. A place where people are an investment to leadership and all ideas and new approaches are considered and implemented.

    Cons

I think all companies have challenges and in the nature of this industry, the challenges we experience as a company are no different than any other in telecom.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing a fine job.
