    I worked at Model N

    Pros

    1. Lot of technically strong people to work with 2. Very well architected application software 3. There is always interesting projects to work on during new releases and hence great opportunity to grow technically within the company 4. No laidback culture

    Cons

    1. Lot of technically strong people but many of them are workholics, so makes you one workholic as well. 2. Pay is below market standards unless one bargained pretty well at the time of offer 3. Career growth is limited as there are too many people working hard and smart at the same time.

    Advice to Management

Need to pay attention to people development as well

I have been working at Model N

    Pros

Intelligent employees willing to share information Weekly company meetings with a lot of information (though sometimes it's overkill)

    Cons

No career growth or professional development within my organization unless your an engineer. Always expected to do more, even when juggle 3-4 projects.

    Advice to Management

Serious look into and define career paths and professional growth plans for all levels of the company; it's been on the employee sat. survey for a while now.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Model N

    Pros

    Cooperative culture. Flexible work schedule.

    Cons

After several reorganization, it has become more and more a political place in recent years and the current middle management team is very immature. The domain is narrow and the technology is proprietary thus there is not much career growth potential and future marketability.

    Advice to Management

Try to retain the great developers and managers

I worked at Model N full-time for less than a year

    Pros

High Pay compare to other IT company rsu granted

    Cons

    1. firstly they hire the people with high pay and later they will fire without any reason. 2. there is no job security even you have less years of experience 3. they hired for as bigdata developer but they given work for manual testing. 4. Worst Management. 5. Even you have very good technically sound but still you will get only one work "bug fixing". 6. around 20 year old framework they are using, now a days... in market so many ORM technology come still they are using POF framework , if you want to change some db related things then at least u have to change 50 java file and xml file . they use ACF framework for UI , if u want to change one single button then u have to change min 20+ xml and java file. 7. there will no career growth in this company because they don't want to upgrade the technology. 8. working on weekends but still u will not get any comp off but at last u will get firing letter. 9. communication problem because they used to discuss every thing in their local language even in meting and scrums if u don't know local language then u will not get any things.Even higher people also used to talk in local language. But some good folks are also there who prefer to talk in professional language. 10.Every year they used to fired people that means it's problem with employer not with employee. 11.At the firing time they told that you are very bright , we are not firing according to performance ,so on what basis u r firing ???, we are firing because we don't need any more bigdata developer but still one project is ongoing on bigdata .All bigdata folks who joined within 6 months all got fired. 12. One last point if u don't have fear about loosing job then u can join because they pay good but if u want to learn things then it's not the right company. After couple of experience in this company u will get nothing. "Don't love company love ur job because u don't know when company stop loving you" :-- Mr. A.P.J. Sir today i realized this things
