I have been working at Mohawk Industries full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Steady hours. Work all you want. Overtime available.

    Cons

They don't care for their employees. (At least not at this plant)
    Don't expect a raise.
It's not a safe place to work... they talk a lot about saftey but don't follow through.

    Advice to Management

Corporate really needs to step in here before they loose all their employees.

Reward your employees... or at least acknowledge the job we do instead of always asking for more and giving us less. Practice what you say... don't just talk safety practice it

I have been working at Mohawk Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a job not many perks to be bragging on..

    Cons

Company is CHEAP! always find a way to take money from hard workers when they have few of them. No incentives for SAFE drivers. take awhile to earn decent vacation time. Supervisors are hide aways who only text and post notes and e-mails, lack of communication ..Comany has alot of room for improvement besides of just being self seekers and always step on your backbone the employees... Too many lazy people always on worker's compensation or light duty that they pay for doing nothing.

    Advice to Management

Reward your good workers and stop being so cheap.. Driver bonuses for safe driver's basically INCENTIVES!

I worked at Mohawk Industries (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Really big company so good benefits and extra discounts. Great discount on company products if you are buying flooring.

    Cons

No accountability of senior management. They do whatever they want and are not held accountable. They only care about themselves and not their employees, even thought they pretend they care.

    Advice to Management

Get out on the floor with your employees and find out the truth, don't just say hi and think you are spending quality time on the floor. Your managers only tell you what you want to hear.
