    Pros

Fast-paced team adept at changing quickly. People here work hard. There are opportunities to advance and further develop professionally, if you make it a priority for yourself. We are accountable, and our team has high expectations for performance because the programs we administer are demanding. This workplace isn't a good fit for those who don't want to work hard, quickly adapt to change, or have difficulty receiving feedback they receive.

This is a very transparent, employee-focused organization, and I'm proud to work here. Great benefits and other perks like onsite gym, and Cafe.

    Cons

Finding a work/ life balance can be challenging. Employees are a little spoiled, but is that a bad thing? Some processes not efficient, but improving.

    Advice to Management

Getting and keeping the right people on the bus will take you far!

    Pros

Your coworkers become your family; it truly is One Molina!

    Cons

There are unrealistic expectations placed on the employees. Upper management make decisions and put processes in place that affect line staff without the input of those who execute these tasks on a daily basis. Upper management was not and has not been totally transparent with employees as to why changes are coming about, budget cuts, the layoffs, and the layoffs to come.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent with all employees, they deserve to know the future of their livelihood. Include those who do the work in your policy changes; sometimes we know what works too.

I have been working at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good company to work for -- but they hired too many people at high salaries and had a couple of bad quarters. They ousted the Molina's as CEO's and took over with layoffs as a result.

    Cons

    See above for the "cons."

    Advice to Management

Have each department talk to other departments so that there is cohesion and people aren't doing the same things.

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive salaries, usually the co-workers your surrounded by are very knowledgeable in their subject matter. The IT department is usually very responsive to your inquiries, especially as a new employee.

    Cons

Human Resources was the biggest con for me. When the recruiter reached out to me to set up an interview, she I formed me she would call me back with the address of where the interview would take place. She never called. Trying to get ahold of SOMEONE, ANYONE in their HR dept is a nightmare (I’m referring to the HR in California, the HR in FL was very receptive). I even contacted the director and left a voicemail letting her know the situation. Never heard from her. Thank goodness for LinkedIn. I was able to get in touch with someone who knew the manager I was interviewing with and got the information that way. The HR dept would also set up interviews with candidates the hiring manager had already interviewed!

    Advice to Management

This is mostly directed to executive management— pay attention and listen to the employees. Their experience and everyday work dealings have a huge impact on the company.
