    Pros

Work from home opportunity was great

    Cons

Constant changes, micromanagement, untapped full potential, no recognition, very slow to no raises despite great reviews of work performance.

    Advice to Management

Don't roll out changes so quickly that it creates mass confusion.

I have been working at Molina Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work independently, decent pay, work at home is mostly why I am trying to stick it, 401k match, not many pros I can think of at the moment

    Cons

Changes in management, high turn over rate, no support as far as training, lack of communication-- the only communication I have on an average day is with the doctors office when I call for information. Otherwise, I do not interact much with other co-workers or management. Unrealistic expectations-- management demands production to be raised, however it is unrealistic to complete THOROUGH documentation at the numbers required.

    Advice to Management

One on one with employees would be helpful, would be helpful to hear from management once in awhile instead new hires often feel thrown out there without much live training

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work schedule hours are good, and work experiences are good.

    Cons

Horrible management. I worked for a group in which management has no structure, policies, processes and procedures in place. Management does hardly any planning and organization leading toward execution of technical works. On any assignments, no cleared requirements are provided and thus deliverable are delayed. Everything is done ad hoc with frequent changes which cause a lot of stress. Management have very few process documents for training purposes, and they don't emphasize to have staff to create documents. Teamwork among team members is weak because there are no teamwork activities.
Management does not set a good example to staff on showing up to work and meetings on time, and giving advanced notice on taking PTO.
Technical equipment such as projectors in conference rooms are old and/or broken. You spend a lot of time just looking for a conference room with working equipment for a meeting.
The CEO and CFO of company both got fired.
This is not a company to have a long term career.

    Advice to Management

Set and communicate your goals and direction to the team. Do your planning, organization to execute works. Do documentation for training purposes. Create opportunities for teamwork to build a strong team. Set a good example on showing up to work and meetings on time, and giving notice to take PTO for staff to follow.

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    401k, PTO, VTO, Tuition Reimbursement

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations for completing the job. Nepotism, favoritism, constant stress and pressure, no work /life balance, constant procedure changes that are not carefully thought-through before implementing. The firing of the founder's sons... whom were blindsided. Politics, politics, politics

    Advice to Management

Get back to the basics of the founders vision. It has been lost in the pursuit of financial Rewards for the corporation. Promote employees that actually deserve it based on work performance instead of favoritism.

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great pay
    Good staff
    Nice office
Good starting experience for a Case manager
Top of the line equipment- iPads, laptops, hot spots, iPhones

    Cons

Constantly changing processes. Management has no idea even what employee does on a daily basis.
Lots of favoritism very unequal treatment. The harder you work and are good at your job the more work you get.
Consideration for alternative work schedule is not consistent.
If your considering a job here better wait until they win a bid (this would shock me if they do).
As a Case Manager in the field I would constantly here from providers how Molina didn't pay the bills. However in every staff meeting we were told all bills were caught up. Until BIG providers dropped the plan completely. All the sudden CEO's are "resigning" and top positions are being replaced. Then we are told we'll we didn't pay our bills "timely". BULL! You didn't pay period!
Then the company fired both Molina brothers- the founding fathers sons. The CEO and COO. After that ALL kinds of emails started coming out about how the company is ok blah blah. I would hold off on a job here.

    Advice to Management

Management likes to tell you they are working on getting issues fixed - they aren't.
No honesty from the top - I would be surprised if this company is around in 6 months.
Stop lying to employees- most of us have been supervisors and management.

    Pros

Benefits are great. Offer free gym membership for the Long Beach office on Ocean blvd. Treat emoyees pretty good.

    Cons

You have to know someone to get anywhere. Filipinos stick to their own people so when a manager, director or even a boss that's of the descent, be careful.

    Advice to Management

    Stop with the racism
