    Pros

You're part of a bigger cause, helping the members receive "affordable" healthcare.

    Cons

Management treats employees in a certain department like robots. Employees exceed expectations but management then pushes for more. They are trying to find the breaking point and employees are too afraid to speak up for themselves. On the other hand, Management does not seek to receive feedback from the employees. One Molina? I think not.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Molina healthcare has an average benefits package that includes healthcare. Molina healthcare provides limited Tuition assistance. Molina has a Competitive compensation package for the industry.

    Cons

Molina healthcare is lacking in the ability to convert enthusiasm into productivity. There is a distinct lack of Vision or at least a failure to communicate Vision to rank and file as goals and desired short, mid, and long term outcomes.

    Pros

Coworkers are fun, vision of the company is admirable, and the overall focus in general should make a difference in the community.

    Cons

The culture is incredibly uneven depending on the department, the nepotism is almost unbearable, and the opportunities for growth are limited.

    Advice to Management

Be more respectful to the people on your teams. Individuals grow and contribute in different ways, so don't continually focus on things like degrees when many of those with advanced educations are the worst producers and know the business the least. Go visit with your teams. Come out of the ivory tower and see your people, it means more than you think.

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Most of the people I worked with were pretty cool and down to earth. Still keep in touch with. Benefits were decent

    Cons

Management is more concerned about who they like personally for a position than whose qualified and able to do the position. Pay structure varies by dept. Most dept.and members Didn't know mine existed and updates to make it more known were always promised but never happened. Supervisor gave pole to the team once and favoritism lead by 40-50%. This from a team of 25-30
Trying to move up very hard if you weren't bilingual or know someone. Mgr, supervisors and quality were very hypocritical on things. Most of the team never bothered to object scores because manager wouldn't back you up even though you had proof of inconsistencies.

    Advice to Management

Learn to be LEADERS and provide the RIGHT tools need. Do whats right for the team not yourselves And learn to point INWARD instead of out. If people stop trusting and believing in your ability to lead they will not follow. Why do you think so many people have already?!?
