    Pros

Good company to work for -- but they hired too many people at high salaries and had a couple of bad quarters. They ousted the Molina's as CEO's and took over with layoffs as a result.

    Cons

    See above for the "cons."

    Advice to Management

Have each department talk to other departments so that there is cohesion and people aren't doing the same things.

    Pros

I am so excited to work for Molina Healthcare and be a part of the next chapter of our growth. The team that is here in Columbus and nationally truly care about the members like family. We see the values of Molina carried out nationally and locally. This comes from the leadership first. In the Ohio Plan especially you enjoy working in the Columbus Ohio location. There is lots of opportunity for growth and the benefits are awesome. Great place to work

    Cons

Although I understand why we cannot do it there is no day care for the staff on site. Maybe in the future.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep the heart of Molina, ONE MOLINA. Thank you in advance.

    Pros

The company really does care about the members! They back up the belief statements with actions! My manager/supervisor is truly amazing.

    Cons

In the utilization management dept, the company requires WAY too much from the nurses in a very complex job using multiple criteria and working under multiple oversight- WA HCA, Fed rules/refs ANDMolina policies to mention a few. The company requires too many "touches" for quality work. Some days, easy to fulfill, other days way too many complex cases to meet demand of #of touches per shift.

    Advice to Management

Read above comment and please adjust expectation somewhat. You have amazing, hard working people, but you will continue to lose them fir demands placed and lower end pay for many positions.
