    I have been working at Molina Healthcare full-time

    Pros

    Fast-paced team adept at changing quickly. People here work hard. There are opportunities to advance and further develop professionally, if you make it a priority for yourself. We are accountable, and our team has high expectations for performance because the programs we administer are demanding. This workplace isn't a good fit for those who don't want to work hard, quickly adapt to change, or have difficulty receiving feedback they receive.

    This is a very transparent, employee-focused organization, and I'm proud to work here. Great benefits and other perks like onsite gym, and Cafe.

    Cons

    Finding a work/ life balance can be challenging. Employees are a little spoiled, but is that a bad thing? Some processes not efficient, but improving.

    Advice to Management

    Getting and keeping the right people on the bus will take you far!

    Pros

    Fulfulling to work with the public and the mission and vision are great.

    Cons

    Poor management staff, discriminitory, prejudice, incompetent, insecure, self servicing. Management does not live up to the vision and mission which is in reference to the population served and the employees. Management fails to follow policy and makes of rules as they go without policy in play and when it fails, they blame the HCS staff. Management failed to follow company policy of promoting from within and hires only their friends from their previous place of employment.

    Advice to Management

    Be more open minded, pratice the skill of speaking to staff as adults with respect and dignity, be kind, stop acting off emotions, gain and exhabit confidence in your job duties

    Pros

    Molina Healthcare has been very good to me! I hope the restructuring will make a positive impact, set the company on a better path financially and streamline processes to better coordinate all departments, which ultimately will decrease frustration and increase moral. We are ONE MOLINA!

    Cons

    The wave of layoffs have many staff concernef, feeling very insecure. All are hoping for the best.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the staff who are "in the trenches" so to speak, dealing directly with providers and members. Ask for their input and feedback.

    Pros

    Pay is good compared to other companies here, Benefits are good with low premiums, VTO program, paid parking, great company vision.

    Cons

    Lack of accountability resulting in one or two good employees doing all the work while others sit back and collect a pay check. Leadership is a joke.

    Advice to Management

    Hold staff accountable, these are government dollars you waste on incompetent people who don't know the job, don't care to learn it, incapable of doing it, and don't care for the members. schedule flexibility for Supervisors and Managers is essential as the work load is unpredictable.

    Pros

    Helpful management. Lots of information available that helps with your job, sometimes too much information that has nothing to do with your actual workload. Good benefits.

    Cons

    Promotion of staff that barely know their role let alone supervising others. Promotion of staff who have little interest in their new role and are never available when you need support. Limited parking. Redundant steps on multiple platforms for the sake of reporting that changes too often.

    Advice to Management

    Simplify daily processes. Update medical records systems.

    Pros

    Some positions allow remote work, provides computer equipment, potential for growth, Fortune 500 company, provides opportunity for advancement, good benefits.

    Cons

    Work/Life balance, some unethical leadership practices, created an environment that established low morale, expectation of greater than 40 working hours per week, expectation of night, weekend and holiday coverage, unrealistic productivity, most of the MD's are extremely difficult to work with.

    Advice to Management

    The hiring/promotion processes of high end managers needs to be decided by more than one person, encourage a work/life balance to avoid burnout, provide support to production staff, utilize surveys or provide an escalation path for team members concerns that will avoid threatening or bullying tactics from the team members direct management.

    Co-workers and direct management are competent, caring and hard working.

    Cons

    Senior management are incompetent and unprofessional. It's all about who you know or are sleeping with. Do a little research on this company, you don't have to dig to deep to see it is full of corruption.

    No advice, they know exactly what they're doing and don't care. Greedy and immoral.
