I have been working at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers, good salary/benefits, lots of perks

    Cons

Top heavy with inexperienced supervisors who want to make a name for themselves by 'fixing' what isn't broken! They use their authority to make themselves feel necessary when they bring more chaos then they do to relieve it.

    Advice to Management

Thoroughly 'vet' the fitness of those in supervisory positions, stop with the 'good ol boy' networking!!!!!

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The cultures when the Molina's ran the company was the best.

    Cons

Pay, benefits, horrible Management. Stay away from member and provider services! Managers, Directors and above are completely disconnected from reality.

    Advice to Management

Stop the favoritism! You only advance if you know someone or kiss up to someone.

Management- DO the actual jobs of your staff. I mean REALLY do the jobs for full days- managers, directors, supervisors, and even VP's! It would give you such a real picture and make you appreciate your teams. REAL appreciation not your pretend try at it.

Makes change happen not just at the Bothell level but with corporate, it would benefit the members and providers much more. Fix the core of problems so your teams can stop running in circles.

    Pros

Ok so I have to write at least twenty words for a positive review so all I'm going to do is this!

    Cons

This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered. Who extends an offer to someone only to revoke it for "internal things" going on at the office.

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good health benefits and tuition reimbursement

    Cons

Nepotism, nepotism, nepotism. Racially motivated, corporate bullies. Although health insurance is good you can forget about trying to get a day off at least in this department when it comes to caring for your own health . Unrealistic work loads.

    Advice to Management

Needs improvement when it comes to professionalism, creating a culture to thrive for employees and a huge need for diversity training. By far the worst management I have even experienced.

I have been working at Molina Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work independently, decent pay, work at home is mostly why I am trying to stick it, 401k match, not many pros I can think of at the moment

    Cons

Changes in management, high turn over rate, no support as far as training, lack of communication-- the only communication I have on an average day is with the doctors office when I call for information. Otherwise, I do not interact much with other co-workers or management. Unrealistic expectations-- management demands production to be raised, however it is unrealistic to complete THOROUGH documentation at the numbers required.

    Advice to Management

One on one with employees would be helpful, would be helpful to hear from management once in awhile instead new hires often feel thrown out there without much live training

I worked at Molina Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, PTO, plus 9 paid holidays health, dental and vision, 401 k and company stock options. Suppose to be a compassionate company

    Cons

Tampa health managers are being micro managed and required to be in the office twice a week. Large caseloads sizes while under a 48 hour deadline for documentation. The case managers who have not quit yet have to fill in for the large number of employees who are leaving. Not a happy place to work. Morale is at its lowest and management doesn't care. Ongoing lawsuit for over working salary employees. Most employees are looking for jobs anywhere but at Molina.

    Advice to Management

I wish new CEO would work at Tampa location as under cover boss to see what really goes on.
In making changes, get employee buy in. Get opinions from workers actually doing the job before making major changes and adding on additional work. Example HM were 99% compliant in seeing members on or before the 90 th day per contract, well Tampa management decided to have members seen every 80 days or less...it is more work and no real benefit and not what was asked for by AHCA. Ask employees what seems reasonable or fair.
