      Pros

      Gorgeous office downtown Denver with spectacular views of the mountains and downtown. Overall, laid back environment. Superior training.

      Cons

      young folks with large salaries and little business etiquette, contract employees not included in office extra curricular activities, upper management not always following through with future project implementation.

      Pros

      -good benefits, phone ($60)/gym ($500/yr)/wifi ($50) reimbursement, 401 k w/ match **after being employee for 3 years**, partial car reimbursement through Motus -work life balance: create own schedule -$50/mon free beer -no office/ outside sales/face to face relationship -same relationships with accounts, not typically changing -social events/sports games IF you are in a city with a direct alliance

      Cons

      -No commission. Bonus @ end of year but small. More expensive cities (CA, NYC, Boston,etc) get higher salary but not enough to live life. Paycheck to paycheck. -really poor management -does not look out for employee well being during covid. -goals do no align with season of year or current state of social atmosphere & company does not launch new products during biggest opportunity/behind on launching or doesn’t create enough product for SMP goals so goals are not met or buyers get annoyed -small portfolio -constant reorgs & HIGH let go. -high turnover in SMP role -contract impossible to get out of. Must pay $12k+ if quit or let go without a company reorg -lack of opportunity to grow within company. If you get promoted, must move to a new region. Hard for building a family. -6 week training that did not properly prepare you for role. -live in hotel for training which is fine but you must buy own dinners over 6 week training ($$). Would be fine if hotel had a kitchenette -not always readily open markets & be on the “bench” til one opens. -only 40 hrs (5days) of PTO rolls over at end of year. Can’t build up PTO or sick days -TONS of miles put on car. I have a small territory and drive abt 500-700 business mi/month. -if your driving amount exceeds company motus plan, money is taken out of your salary following year -veryyyyyyy corporate. -upper management doesn’t listen to or ask for lower roles opinions/insight on market even though they are the ones living in market with consumers on a daily basis and have best insight on trends -management depends on data platforms to create account target lists for sales reps instead of allowing reps to pick own target lists. Reps 100% know accounts/buyers better than a platform. -when on vacation still expected to work if accounts reach out. -Expected to work weekends for promotions

      Pros

      Free beer if you're not contracted. Decent pay- better than craft breweries can offer. Benefits were pretty good. In my team I worked with a lot of great people. There were sometimes some opportunities for company paid training/certifications.

      Cons

      All the above pluses are easily negated by the following: Managers/leadership play favorites. Career advancement is limited- even when they had openings upper management already had someone in mind for the position, so you were interviewing with little hope of getting it. If you don't apply for promotions you'll be punished for that too though- they'll see you as not having any ambition. Constantly moved managers that were not qualified and had no business managing people into our team when they had no idea what my team did- they could have hired within my team very successfully but did not because they just want "yes" men/women to do whatever they say. Managers don't pass along feedback and give opportunities to improve- instead you'll be punished and not told why. New people hired into our team were hired at a significantly higher pay than many people working 5+ years for the company with far more experience and certifications. On that note- raises are pretty poor- usually less than what would be needed to keep up with cost of living. In my team people were required to have a 4 year science degree and were paid less than production employees (most of whom were high school graduates/GED only). All of the above cause morale to be terrible at all times. Large part of the group is contract employees who are underpaid with no benefits and there is constant turnover (true in production areas as well). Contractors who under perform are allowed to remain even when it is to the detriment of the team because our managers didn't want to have to go through the hiring process yet again. Our review metrics, how we self evaluated, how reviews were structured etc changed every single year I was there (8 years). Goals were set for you that you had no control over and no way to impact the success or failure and you couldn't change or remove them. Just completely dysfunctional and very political workplace. I hope it has changed for the better since I left but from my friends who still work there it seems like its at least the same if not worse.

      Good salary, good benefits, professional workplaces and colleagues.

      Cons

      Poor upper management, yearly layoffs and restructures, lack of vision and corporate direction, wasted efforts on projects that are cancelled prematurely, dishonesty from CEO

      Good pay and benefits 4 weeks of vacation starting.

      Cons

      Upper management can be swayed by butt kissing and don’t actually manage. Lots of back stabbing and not actually managing.

      Good perks, as long as you are in a favourable department

      Cons

      No good perks if not in a favourable department. Big on career planning, but with nowhere to advance career. Monitored how long you go to the toilet for. Building I was in was a health hazard and has since been condemned. Some management there are vindictive. Upper management lost vital paperwork regarding pay rises and it meant a 9 month wait in getting said pay rise

      Pros

      Working Region is Autonomous, giving individuals opportunity to work on regional projects autonomously. Small team culture in big company. Good work life balance.

      Cons

      Promotion opportunity is limited due to the mature industry and macro economy. Employees lack of opportunity to expose to the upper management.
