        Pros

Good benefits for full-time employees, including vacation days and healthcare Subsidized cafeteria People are smart, passionate about what they do

        Cons

Incredibly low pay (though somewhat par for the course of the art world) Long hours No formal review and very slow promotion system Inaccessible management Low morale I know this looks like a disgruntled former employee (and perhaps it is) but I was amazed in turns by how toxic the company culture could be. This was my first foray into the art world and wonder if it's a reflection of the broader sector, or this really is just an institution that disregards its employees.

I have an interview tomorrow where I get to ask questions to the interviewers. I usually ask questions like “how long have you worked here” “what’s your fav thing about working here” along with the obvious “what would be your expectations of me and how do you measure it” any other good ideas for questions?
