I am 2 months into my new position at Rose Associates as a leasing agent and I hate it. I worked at my last property management company as a leasing agent and did considerably well. At Rose Associates, I haven’t received any formal training on their CRM and procedures. My property has tons of vacancies due to it being very outdated and unorganized. I feel like I made the biggest mistake in my career, what do I do next?

I am a new agent meeting with my brokers today and wanting to bring up doing property management as well in 2024. I would like to help people manage their short term rentals since I live in a college town. How should I bring this up to my brokers? Also what should I ask or find out?

I recently received a Job offer. I accepted it verbally in order for them to send me the official offer letter.It does match everything they described to me (based on salary, sign on bonus, & relocation assistance.) However the question I have is should i attempt to negotiate for a higher base salary? When speaking to my parents about it they told me that the time for negotiation is over as I accepted the offer as it stands and they sent it to me.

I feel like I actually have a seat at the table, and my input matters to all I interact with. There's a massive support system for just about anything you can encounter and having a link to site forms and operating procedures is life-changing so I don't have to go through several parties to obtain something I should be able to get myself. I've not seen any kind of "Distant" management where things are swept under the rug and hidden from senior management. Everyone has a "How can I help" attitude rather than the typical "Why can't we do XYZ", helping from such a distance it feels disconnected. I'm impressed by how open, communicative, and structured Monarch has been. No PMC is perfect by any means, but when your employer encourages you to be the best version of yourself while simultaneously recognizing you're not able to solve every problem in a 24 hour timeframe, the feeling of empowerment extends farther than any others I've worked for prior to.

They truly care about their employees and their assets.

I have worked for monarch for just over a year and am loving it! Everyone has been incredibly helpful and supportive onsite and at the corporate level. I could tell right away that they invest in their employees intentionally and have learned so much on account of that. There is a broad range of perks and benefits that are really cool and appeal to everyone. They fully staff their sites, provide all the necessary resources to succeed and genuinely care about the residents.

I have been in property management for 9 years but only with Monarch for 8 months. From my first day I have never had a team or company like I have found with Monarch. There is always someone there to help you and support you. Any challenge I may have found in my new position I know my co-works on any level will be here to support me. I always feel like there is some who can help not only myself but anyone on my team.

This is a fine job if you need extra income for a 2 person earning enough for a family. I definitely could not support myself alone with this salary without being broke all the time, and if I had to support myself and my two teenagers, we would be living on streets. Hahah which is hilarious since I work for an apartment complex!
Salary is not sustainable in this day and age. I have to door dash 3-5 nights a week to pay the bills! In return for this, there is no work/life balance. I’m going back to school to get a degree.Monarch Investment and Management Group Response4mo

None if you want to come here and be discriminated on for being black, gay, and trans. Come here. Not only did they fire a previous black, gay male, they fired me who is a black, lesbian woman, and then turned around and fired my black trans bestfriend, all at the same property in a two year span. I don’t need an explanation because I can read between the lines. Anything inappropriate pertaining to my sexuality and the color of my skin that could be said to me, was said to me on a regular basis. I was once even told that my beautiful curly black hair looks like a mop. So if you want to come here and get treated, like an animal because of the color of your skin. Monarch investments is the place that’ll give you that treatment.
