I worked at Mondelez International as an intern

    Pros

Corporate experience, impactful project opportunities, good leadership, great work-life balance

    Cons

Not all leadership are great, employees are older (Nabisco/KRAFT) so less willing to adapt to change

    Advice to Management

Be able to take recommendations/opportunities for improvement w/ an open mind, take more risks

I have been working at Mondelez International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Amazing amounts of PTO even for new employees, summer Friday hours (leave at 1pm).

    Cons

Unclear leadership with conflicting goals and priorities. Constant headcount reductions.

I worked at Mondelez International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Large company
    Good benefits
    Moving towards Lean manufacturing

    Cons

    Too many upper management changes
    No clear path for advancement
    Low pay
No mentoring ( although they say there is a program)
    Lack of training
    Long hours

    Advice to Management

You have a lot of internal talent, start there. Too much change over the last 3 years made working effectively impossible. Stop setting up people for failure

I have been working at Mondelez International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

large company, with many different career paths available, overall a positive environment, flexible work environment

    Cons

benefits lack compared to other companies of this size,
the company spends a lot of time talking about being agile- but really isn't
They want you to follow a prescribed career path. It can be hard to get promoted if you won't relocate. Because of the flexible environment you don't really know your co-workers.
Lots of people will have opinions on your business but it is truly difficult to get help to get something done.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to fit everyone in the same box career path-wise, trust your employees a bit more- the expense restrictions are ridiculous.

    Pros

Pay was decent. You need to have a college degree to be considered for advancement. The union team was cooperative to plant advancement.

    Cons

The hours you were expected to work were ridiculous. Your family life will suffer. This included weekends and holidays of ten hour days!

I worked at Mondelez International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty cheap insurance, and the management team in Denver was great.

    Cons

The expectation is too high. No work/life balance. They desperately need to hire more people, but are trying to cut back, meaning all the reps and merchandisers are slammed 24/7

    Advice to Management

    Make the rep territories smaller!!!!

I worked at Mondelez International full-time

    Pros

These areas are pros that I believe are the most important: competitive salary, bonus structure, professional development opportunities, shared human resources services,

    Cons

No one is held accountable for actions. This includes salaried leaders as well as hourly employees. Written policies are ignored or impartially enforced.

    Advice to Management

Enforce standards and policy compliance fairly and consistantly.
