I worked at Mondi Group full-time

    Pros

Large international company with opportunities for professional development

    Cons

Performance reviews and career advancement can be overlooked due to the large size of the company.

    Advice to Management

Engage with your co-workers more frequently to check-in, to keep up with current project statuses, to review performance, and to plan a course of action for professional development/career advancement.

I have been working at Mondi Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Global reach and perspective. Working alongside different nationalities gives you a better view of our current business climate

    Cons

Groom employees for leadership positions. MD changeover is disconcerting. Set goals and realistic timelines and hold local management accountable. If they can't right the ship then it's time for a change.

    Advice to Management

Local management turnover is too high...causes uneasiness in the work force.

I have been working at Mondi Group full-time

    Pros

Base pay is okay if nothing changes in the time you are there. Amazing benefits. I prefer the 12 hour rotating shift since 24 hours of vacation gets me a full week to myself.

    Cons

Some departments advance faster than others. Ive been working for the company for 2 years and still make less than 14 dollars while people who have been there 6 months are makign 14 an hour and those who have been there only a year are making 14.50 or more.

I worked at Mondi Group (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good salary for no college degree for a woman,
Good benefits for insurance and EAP
Close to home with little travel

    Cons

    Mondi's style of management
Foreigners that do not know US business practices
Promote employees that suck up or are a "yes" man.

    Advice to Management

Promote employees that deserve it, not who just suckered up. Seems like loyalty means nothing . They gave way to much power to someone that was power hungry and it was detrimental to the company and employee morale. And now she's gonever and new HR has the same practices. The turnover rate shot up higher when Mondial took over then I had seen my whole career in paper.

    Pros

The managers and coworkers are good at the plant level.
They have good health care, dental and vision insurance.
The pay is decent and the hours are great.

    Cons

The upper management has poor communication and decision making skills.
The machines are older than the other plants but operators still perform well.

    Advice to Management

Communication must be clear down to the plant level for direction on path forward.
