I worked at Mondial Assistance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good People to work for, nice wok envionment. Wide variety of schedules to accomodate different people. Nice company Christmas party, always bringing in food and other events to boost employee morale.

    Cons

Wages are lower than most, work on weekends, micromanagement, hard to advance. Other than that it's a great place to work.

I worked at Mondial Assistance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very laid back atmosphere in the office that I worked.
    Great Training
    decent benefits

    Cons

I don't have any real complaints

    Advice to Management

Maybe rethinking which employees are required to be at work on days when there is very poor weather. My position wasn't one dealing directly with customers so it didn't seem as if I needed to risk coming in for something that could easily be done later.

I worked at Mondial Assistance full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Accessible senior management. Transparency. Able and acceptable to have balance in work and life. Friendly environment. Does right by its clients.

    Cons

Lack of talent development. Heavy use of promotion to director level much of what doesn't seem warranted.

    Pros

Great company culture with flexibility for a better work life balance.
Information Sharing between management and employees shows a mutual respect from management for their employees. Training opportunities are abundant.

    Cons

Talent management is poor in some areas. Call center employees have great potential for growth, past that there is limited growth opportunity. The pay seems lower when compared to other local employers.

    Pros

There are no pros, just getting off at 5:00 or when you are scheduled to leave. They do have benefits. and if you have done really well management may give a treat (cookies, icecream, lunch)

    Cons

Management treat people like they are kids. You are hired as a "claim examiner" however you are not given time to do claims. You have to answer for all day. It is like a call center and you do claims between calls. However the calls are coming in back to back. Its makes it hard to meet your claims quota so more than likely you will have to do some kind of overtime to acheive this goal.

    Advice to Management

Work more closly with team and dont expect your employees to do things that you probably couldnt do. And stop watching people so much.

    Pros

They have a very laid back work atmosphere. Extremely casual fridays (shorts.. flip flops) and a supportive management looking out for their employees.

    Cons

I saw low growth potential personally. While it is a growing company, from an intern point of view it was not as fulfilling as i would have liked.

    Advice to Management

From an intern's point of view, I would make sure that any internships you give are challenging and will entice interns to return.

    Pros

Growing company in a recession. Fun people that actually do the work.

    Cons

CEO and his best friends run it and nobody else has a chance of seeing theur ideas come to life. The intense back stabbing so each person can survive in the command structure means no one trusts each other.

    Advice to Management

Potential to be an incredible comapny is all there, just let go.
