    Pros

Flexible with working from home when you need to.

    Cons

They can't seem to figure out how a budget works. Every year it's a hiring freeze, layoffs and eliminating contractor work due to over budget. They got rid of promotions. You can only advance if there's an opening which creates a culture of throwing colleagues under the bus in hopes of receiving open positions.

I worked at MoneyGram International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Compensation was reasonable but not structured. Benefits/PTO/Holidays were good.

    Cons

Way too much politics and "favorites." Lots of hard workers carrying the load for the others. Annual merit increases not based on results, very subjective. Managers didn't manage incompetent employees. HR area is in turmoil.

    Advice to Management

Wait until you see how the new Chinese management changes the culture. Big changes coming for slackers.

People are friendly which makes getting work done easy. Bonuses and raises are routine, as long as performance expectations are met.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time listening to employees and learn to take feedback.
